Bachelor of Engineering [B.Eng] Transfer Program
- Bachelor of Engineering (Transfer) at Cape Breton University is offered as a 4-year teaching program.

- The engineering transfer program is offered at CBU on an associate basis with Dalhousie University. CBU is one of the few Associated Universities to offer the first two years of all seven engineering disciplines.
- These include civil, environmental, mineral resource, electrical, industrial, mechanical, and chemical engineering. University delivers the first two years of the four-year Bachelor of Engineering program.
- The first year of the program is common for all seven discipline options. At the end of the first year, the student must make a decision on a specialty. Application is made at this time to both CBU and Dalhousie for a seat in the particular discipline of choice.

Academic Eligibility:

- English (advanced or academic level) is required in grade 12.
- Maths (advanced or academic level, pre-cal recommended) in grade 12.
- Science (chemistry and physics recommended) in grade 12.
- Additional one courses (advanced or academic level) is needed in grade 12.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students need to maintain an overall average of 60% in their 12th grade for admission in this Program.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
