Bachelor of Science [B.S] Public Management & Policy
The program trains students for administrative positions in government and quasi-public agencies. Majors learn how public agencies handle budgetary, financial, personnel and policy-making matters, which may differ from private business practices.
The knowledge gained from a major in Public Management and Policy of leadership principles, ethics, nonprofit and public management, and policy formation provides a strong career foundation. Graduates may work in policy advising, research, nonprofit management, advocacy, community relations, or intelligence. This major is also excellent preparation for law school or graduate studies in public administration, public health policy, planning, or business administration.
