Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.
  • The university degree, described above, must have been completed with an overall Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0/4.0, or a Grade Point Average of 3.2/4.0 within the last two full-time academic years.
  • Applicants from other institutions should have an academic background equivalent to that of a McGill graduate in the Chemistry Honours/Major programs.

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Candidates should hold a B.Sc. degree or its equivalent from institutions with a NAAC rating of “A”.
  • The university degree, described above, must have been completed with a minimum standing of 3.3/4.0 or the equivalent, according to the grading scale on the transcript.
  • Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
