Diploma Chemical Laboratory Technician

- One of the few two-year science-based diploma programs at Ontario colleges, the Chemical Laboratory Technician program will provide students with foundational knowledge in many different disciplines to open the door to the career of their dreams.
- Students spend almost half of their course time in the laboratories, learning to operate state-of-the-art analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs, atomic absorption spectrometers, and fluorometers while building core wet chemistry skills.
- Once students have successfully completed the first year or the entire two-year diploma, there is also the opportunity to specialize in a specific industry by completing the remaining coursework for some of the three-year advanced diplomas.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students required an Ontario Secondary Diploma (OSSD) or an OSSD Equivalency.
- If students do not have an OSSD but are 19 years of age or older, they may be eligible to apply as a mature applicant.
- English Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent.
- Mathematics Grade 11 M or U or 12 C, or U, or equivalent.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Secured a minimum of 70% marks in one of these certificates: All India Senior School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, Indian School Certificate.
- Completed grade 11 and grade 12 with 70% marks.
