  • The concentration is designed to appeal to students interested in environmental sustainability and social justice, including those students seeking careers within an environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
  • Students will gain this understanding by taking courses spanning a number of different disciplines such as ecology, economics, engineering, entrepreneurship, film, law, literature, philosophy, and sociology.
  • Students working in this concentration are challenged to recognize points of integration and points of tension between the needs of the planet and all its inhabitants and ecosystems, as well as the demands of business and economic growth.

  • All applicants who graduated from high school less than five years ago are required to submit their official ACT or SAT score reports. We require either the SAT I or the ACT with the optional writing portion. 
  • SAT II test results are not required. Applicants who graduated from high school more than five years ago are not required to submit this credential. 
  • A TOEFL or IELTS score report is required for all international students for whom English is not their native language.
