Bachelor English
Few majors prepare students as well as an English major for such a wide range of careers. With a comprehensive curriculum, students read literature, watch films, write fiction and journalism, and even analyze video games. The English Department’s faculty exposes students to a variety of cultures that have shaped written expression over past centuries.
English classes are typically small in size, allowing for personal interactions with top-notch faculty. Students who major in English at Rutgers University–Camden learn how to think critically, read actively, and write persuasively. Recent surveys indicate that majoring in English gives students a distinct advantage on the job market
