Diploma Developmental Services Worker
- Courses will be dynamic with a focus on mental and physical health, interpersonal skills, teaching, and positive behavior supports. Students will learn how to collaborate and build relationships with family members, and to work with a diverse network of professionals who support people with developmental disabilities.
- Fanshawe DSW program graduates are in high demand. The majority of grads - if not all - find fulfilling employment within 6 months as direct support professionals, case managers/service coordinators or as educational assistants at a School Board.

Academic Eligibility:
- OSSD with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (M), or Open (O) stream with:
- Any Grade 12 English (C) or (U)
- Any Grade 11 or Grade 12 Mathematics (C), (U), or (M)
- Applicants must have an Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE).
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students have a minimum of 4 major subjects in 12th Grade, including English, with an average of 70% and no course less than 65%.
- Students have an Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE).
Other:
Applicants who lack the required Mathematics may still gain eligibility for admission by completing appropriate prior upgrading.
