Clinical laboratory scientists perform laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis of disease or assess response to treatment under the direction of a pathologist.

Students planning to major in Clinical Laboratory Science should complete three years of mathematics and one year each of biology, physics, and chemistry in high school.
