- The Bachelor of Science with a major in ?is the language of the universe. It is the study of patterns in shape, time, distance and space? through careful reasoning and rigorous deductions. Modern applications include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), encryption for secure commerce on the internet, and algorithms for speech recognition.
- Our program offers small classes taught by full-time professors who are committed? to their professions and committed to the development of each student's full potential in a friendly environment. Every student is assigned a faculty adviser who will assist in designing an individualized program of study. The faculty maintains regularly scheduled office hours, as well as, scheduled "math help" sessions eight hours per week.?

- High school students need to take the American College Test (ACT) and/or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Trine University. Our code numbers are 1250 for the ACT and 1811 for the SAT. NOTE: the writing section of the ACT and SAT are optional.
- Upon graduation from high school, send your official final high school transcript that includes graduation date to admissions. You will also want to submit transcripts for dual credit or other college courses to be reviewed for credit. An applicant for freshman standing who achieves a score of 3, 4, or 5 on the College Entrance Examination Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Examination may be granted credit.
