Bachelor of Science [B.S] Environmental Science
Upon graduation, you will be ready to hit the ground running in a career as an Environmental Scientist within local and state conservation or environmental protection agencies, performing investigations in conservation biology, forestry, fisheries and atmospheric sciences. Plus, many of our students develop a passion for an advanced degree in geographic information systems (GIS), ecology, conservation biology, natural resource management, environmental biology or foresty, and move on to graduate school straight after Lewis. Most commonly taken as part of a double major or along with multiple minors, the Environmental Science, B.A. is designed for students who plan on working with non-profits, or plan to study Environmental Law. This degree does not require coursework in Biometry, Organic Chemistry or Calculus.
