Master of Science [M.S] Sport Management
The program prepares students to assume leadership positions in various sport and fitness venues in both facility and personnel management and program development. Graduates are prepared to direct sport and fitness programs in the private and public sectors. The program consists of core courses that provide students with a background in programming, research design and current issues and trends in sport and fitness. All students are required to complete a practicum experience in sport or fitness programming or with a research thesis. An elective may be selected to meet the needs of graduate candidate?s interest in sport or fitness programming. A maximum of nine (9) semester hours of graduate work may be transferred from another accredited institution.
