The Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction?provides you with the skills necessary to adapt and incorporate different teaching strategies within an ever-changing classroom environment. You will be able to enhance your curriculum expertise, content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and teacher leadership and mentoring skills. This is an interdisciplinary program that provides you with the expertise of our faculty from both the Adrian Dominican School of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences.

In order to?broaden your curriculum expertise and instructional skills, we have developed courses that act as a learning laboratory where you are able to bring curriculum issues and classroom experiences to your coursework. You will work with experienced faculty to create instructional methods and strategies aimed at solving problems commonly found in teaching environments. These courses come alive allowing you to turn around and practice what you are learning simultaneously.
