Bachelor of Science [B.S] Supply Chain Management

An increasing number of companies have begun to recognize the importance of supply chain management functions. This recognition is partially due to the shortage and rising costs of materials, and the limited number of well-trained managers. This trend is likely to continue.

Graduates of the program usually start as buyers, materials analysts, inventory supervisors or in contract administrator trainee positions. They then move up to a position of senior buyer, purchasing manager, plant manager, supply chain manager or contract administrator, and perhaps eventually to a top executive position.

The supply chain management program at Bowling Green State University is recognized as one of the largest and best programs in the country. Each year more than 50 companies and organizations send representatives to campus to interview graduates.
