Doctor of Philosophy [Ph.D] Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology
The Biochemistry, Cell, and Developmental Biology (BCDB) program at Emory University is a cross-disciplinary training program that encourages and fosters innovative thinking and experimentation. The program uses formalized training in scientific research, presentation, writing, hypothesis design, and teaching to enable students to integrate diverse biological disciplines. The students graduate as well-rounded biomedical research scientists who are highly competitive in a number of different career paths.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Students have better than a B+ average, and strong undergraduate or professional research experiences.
- International applicants whose native language is not English must also complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed graduation in a relevant field from a recognized institution with 60%.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
