Master of Science [M.S] Elementary Education

  • As a student in the MS, Masters in Elementary Education program, one will gain extensive knowledge about teaching elementary subjects including literacy, mathematics, social studies, and science.
  • UB also gives a student the opportunity to put these skills to work through our tuition-paid internship or hands-on field experience.
  • They work with more than 60 districts throughout Connecticut and New York to provide the students with practical experiences in a local school.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited university or recognized international institution
  • Students are recommended a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.90 or higher.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed 4 years of a bachelor's degree in the first division in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
