Course description
The Community Health Education major program is designed to prepare students to be competent in the following skill area: need assessment; program planning, implementation, and evaluation; administering health education programs; providing health information and resources; effectively communicating health information; and serving as a health advocate.? These skills represent the criteria necessary to become a Certified Health Education Specialist through The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. Upon graduation, all Community Health Education students are strongly encouraged to earn this distinguished certification.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students are required to submit their undergraduate degrees in the relevant field from an accredited university.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students need to submit their 4-year bachelor's degree in the relevant field from the recognized university.
Along with the above requirements, non-native students need to submit their English language proficiency scores.
