Students of the Computer Information System program offered by the Castleton University?will develop the knowledge and skills in analyzing and designing business applications, databases, and web development.?

Through combining business problems with information systems, the CIS program will prepare students for entry-level computer-related careers as well as graduate level studies in computing, information systems or technology disciplines. An education in CIS offers students a solid foundation to become a database developer, programmer, business analyst, project manager, web developer or IT technician.

The CIS program strives to prepare students for employment in the field of Information Systems through a hands-on active/service learning environment.
