Doctor of Philososphy [Ph.D] Business Administration - Accounting
The Ph.D. degree is designed to prepare students to conduct scholarly research in accounting and to eventually take positions at other research universities. The program is individually planned with each student by his/her major professor and advisory committee. The student and the committee evaluate previous work and designate sufficient coursework to provide the necessary proficiency to do research and teach in the chosen field of specialization.

Such admission must be to an authorized field and must be approved by the dean of the Graduate School.
- Persons holding a baccalaureate degree, or a foreign equivalent, from a regionally accredited institution are eligible to apply for admission to the Graduate School.
