- The Bachelor of Music (Honours) is most flexible program. In conjunction with a faculty advisor, this four-year degree is tailored to the needs of each individual student.
- Many students who plan to go on to graduate studies in such areas as musicology, music theory, or music therapy select this program.
- Brandon University has a long and distinguished history as a leader in post-secondary musical education. The School of Music maintains an exceptionally low student to teacher ratio and prides itself on the personalized instruction it provides to students.
- In addition to many teaching and practice studios, rehearsal halls and classrooms, it houses the Lorne Watson Recital Hall, the Music Library, the Music Technology Lab, the Electronic Music Studio and the Media Room.

- Students with General Certificate of Education (GCE) must have passed in five different subjects of which at least two must be passed at the Advanced level.
- Students with an International Baccalaureate (IB) with an overall score of 24 points are considered to have the equivalent of Manitoba High School Graduation for purposes of admission to Brandon University.
