- Students interested in careers in sports communication, such as sports journalism, sports marketing, sports media, or sports information have a variety of paths to choose from. Often students interested in these careers paths choose to major in Communication, English or New Media Studies.

- An SAT Reading score of 500 or an ACT English score of 20 may also be utilized.
- All international students on F-1 or J-1 visa are required to provide evidence of sufficient finances to support their U.S. education. Sources of funding may be from parents, guardians, or a sponsor.
