You’ll develop an understanding of topics like confidence, anxiety, leadership, goal-setting, motivation, and aggression as you prepare for a career in athletics or other physical activity settings.

• Enter the minds of athletes and active individuals as you gain a better understanding of the mental aspects of sport performance and physical activity behaviors.
• Complete a senior internship with university, high school, or youth athletic teams or in exercise or fitness settings.
• Conduct applied lab experiences in small-group settings during courses in kinesiology and psychology.
• Prepare for graduate study to become a sport psychology consultant and/or researcher.
