- This training will allow student to acquire a scientific knowledge of French, to introduce student to the different fields of linguistics and to acquire a basic training in the computer processing of language.
- In addition, they will begin or continue to study another language, ancient or modern.
- This program will initiate the linguistics and its main sub-disciplines by familiarizing with the different linguistic theories that have developed over the course of history as well as with their application to the study of different languages, especially that of French, its evolution and its its use, especially in North America.
