Master of Education [M.Ed] Educational Leadership with Teacher Leader Endorsement
This is a rigorous program that is research-based, yet practical in its goal to translate theory into practice. It approaches leadership through the lens of social justice advocacy while addressing challenging issues with integrity and in a caring and ethical manner. This program is based on the Lasallian commitment to excellence with the student as the major focus.
The Master of Education program requires 31 semester credit hours, which can be completed in an accelerated format in approximately two years. A one semester practicum is also required for the degree. This requirement can be completed without the loss of work time.?
A candidate holding a Professional Educators License with a Teacher Endorsement may choose to apply for the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership. If the candidate meets admission requirements up to 6 credit hours can be transferred to this degree program.?

Academic Requirements:
- Professional educator license with teacher endorsement
- Four years of successful teaching experience
- Undergraduate GPA of the applicant should be minimum 2.75 on a scale of 4.0
- Submit official transcripts from each university attended
- Lewis University COESS graduate writing samples should be submitted
- Two letters of recommendation attesting the applicant’s success in the program
