Bachelor of Applied Science [B.ASc] Manufacturing Operations

  • The Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing Operations (BASMO) has been exclusively designed for students who have completed an AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degree from a Technical College System of Georgia or any regionally accredited 2-year technical college.
  • This degree prepares students with upper-level study in the areas of project management, statistics, six sigma quality, lean manufacturing, facilities layout, operations management, safety and ethics, behavior science through an industry-driven curriculum encompassing manufacturing processes, quality principles, engineering economy, human resources, and simulation.
  • All required major courses to complete the BASMO degree are offered totally online or on-campus by KSU faculty.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Graduation from high school with a GPA of 2.5 with qualifying test scores-or graduation from high school with a GPA of 2.6 without test scores(If educated outside of the United States, the required official evaluation must indicate GPA)
  • Official transcripts of ALL student's high school or post-secondary records. English evaluations of all foreign documents will be needed. Students must have their foreign transcripts evaluated by one of the following credential evaluation services found at naces.org.
    • Students High School transcript will need to have a document-by-document evaluation including GPA.
    • Students College/University transcript will need to have a course-by-course evaluation.
  • Results from your Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT).
  • International students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
  • Completion of the first two levels of English Composition college-level courses with a “C” or higher at an accredited American institution.
  • Successful completion through Level Six of the Kennesaw State University Intensive English Program.
