This degree program, like the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Reading/Writing/Literacy programs, emphasizes a commitment to professional development through service, teaching, and practitioner inquiry.
- Through core courses, fieldwork, and the development of a scholarly portfolio, students have many opportunities to teach, tutor, and participate in other service in the Philadelphia community and to develop research projects that relate to their particular interests.

Academic Eligibility:
