Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Spanish and Political Science
The study of language and politics at the University of Delaware is part of a broad, multicultural education that is integral to success in many different fields in today’s global environment.
In Spanish courses, a proficiency-oriented communicative approach develops speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, while an emphasis on social and cultural knowledge equips students to interact within the target culture confidently and successfully.
In Political Science courses, students examine the structure of governments and their historical evolution over time, as well as the question of how governmental authority is established and maintained in different eras and different societies.
Opportunities abound for access to multilingual communities through technology, as well as through study abroad programs hosted by both departments.
