Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree in bachelor's degree in engineering or the physical sciences or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • A GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 is required to be eligible for the program.
  • Applicants whose baccalaureate degrees are not in materials or metallurgical engineering, or whose undergraduate preparation is evaluated as insufficient, may be required to elect additional courses prior to admission.

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
  • Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or it's equivalent in upper-division coursework.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
