Bachelor of Arts [B.A] Studio Art
In addition to studying and practicing art, you'll be introduced to the world of art exhibitions, galleries, and commissions as you share your artwork outside the studio. Studio Art majors refine their artistic skills and develop their personal style, while learning the ins and outs of the art world from practicing artists.
Filling in Your Canvas
Our core art courses build a solid foundation in the main branches of visual art, examining both contemporary art strategies and art history. You will explore 2D and 3D art mediums, choosing electives in printmaking, painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, metalworking, and woodworking.
Students pursuing Studio Art degrees spend their senior years creating collections of works that will be displayed in galleries on and off campus. Throughout your time at Taylor, you will have opportunities to sell your work, gain commissions, and win awards.
