Master of Science [M.S] Statistics
- The School of Mathematics offers the degree of Master of Science in Statistics in cooperation with the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
- It is available for applicants having a BS in mathematics.
- Students with engineering backgrounds should enter the same program through the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
- The prerequisites include work in probability, statistics, linear algebra, calculus, and optimization.
- The program requires 30 credit hours of coursework. There is no thesis option.
- The School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISYE) offers eight master's degrees:
- MS in Industrial Engineering
- MS in Operations Research
- MS in Supply Chain Engineering
- MS in Statistics
- MS in Health Systems
- MS in Quantitative and Computational Finance
- MS in International Logistics that is part of the executive program
- MS in Computational Science and Engineering
- The curriculum is based on core classes offered from the School of ISyE, as well as electives offered by ISyE and other Georgia Tech schools in engineering and science.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a related subject from a regionally accredited institution.

Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
