- Students concentrating in illustration develop strong critical thinking skills and hone their application through visual communication.

- Emphasis is placed on the study of key illustration principles such as conceptual problem solving, composition and textual layout.

- SHU is a test-optional institution. One may elect to submit SAT or ACT scores for consideration; however, there is no requirement to do so.
