Bachelor of Applied Science [B.ASc] Health Science (Physician Assistant)
- Physician Assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine in collaboration with their physician partners. As part of their comprehensive responsibilities, they conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, provide counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions.
- Physician assistants have a close working relationship with physicians. They are educated in the medical model designed to complement physician training.

The following requirements are:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Completion of the required natural science courses with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Previous health care career education and/or documented experience are highly recommended.
- Shadowing a physician assistant for a minimum of 50 hours is highly recommended
- Completion of program-generated admission test and written essay.
- English competency in oral and written communication skills is required.
