The Research concentration prepares majors for further study at the graduate level. This program trains students in logical thinking and problem solving using both analytical and computational methods. Admission decisions are based upon the following:

  • cumulative grade point average, ACT and/or SAT scores, strength of high school college preparatory curriculum and grade trends.
  • Minimum 120 total credit hours, minimum 42 upper-division credit hours and minimum 2.000 major GPA and 2.000 cumulative GPA.
  • Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
