  • The MS Agricultural and Applied Economics Professional Option (MSPO) program is a full-time professional master’s program designed to meet the growing private sector demand for quantitatively-skilled analysts and managers.
  • Students will be well prepared to enter the professional workforce in both the US and abroad in data-intensive and quantitatively focused jobs in economic consulting, businesses, agribusinesses, non-profit organizations focused on the development and governmental sectors.
  • The MSPO is a STEM-designated program that allows graduates to apply for the Occupational Practical Training (OPT) STEM extension to work in the U.S. an additional 24 months following graduation (3 years total).

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have an equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B+ Grade] is required.

English Language proficiency:

  • Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
  • Students must qualify IELTS or TOEFL test scores.

Submission of GRE scores is compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum 292 score for a better chance of admission.
