Doctor of Philososphy [Ph.D] Chemical and Biological Engineering
Coursework requirements beyond the first semester are minimal and students typically become deeply engaged in research in their second semester. The master's degree reflects mastery of core and specialized areas of chemical/biological engineering, as well as the ability to conduct research on a well-defined problem formulated by the student's faculty advisor.

Academic Requirements:
- A bachelor degree or masters degree
