Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have completed a minimum of 4 years Honours Bachelors degree or equivalent with an overall standing of 75% or more.
  • The completion of a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from an accredited Social Work program.
  • Minimum 75% grade point average (GPA) in the final two years of study (equivalent to last 20 half-credit courses).
  • All applicants must have passed specific university-level courses in Statistics and Research Methods.
  • Applicants will be required to list their Statistics and Research Methods courses as part of the application process.
  • International Applicants are required to provide proof that their international BSW qualification is equivalent to a Canadian BSW.
  • GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 [B Grade].

Indian Students Eligibility:

  • Students need to complete a 4 year UG degree in Social Work, Human Resource Management, from a recognized university or institute.
  • Standard XII English, a minimum final grade of 75%.
  • First or Second Division standing in one of the following:
    • All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE
    • Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE 
    • other pre-university certificate awarded after 12 years of academic studies

A GRE score is not required but is recommended for all international students applying to the program.
