- The Molecular Biology Institute (MBI) at UCLA is home to over 200 faculty performing outstanding research at the forefront of their fields.
- University provides the flexibility to complete the program in 16 academic quarters and 5 summer terms.
- Students are expected to complete the program in 5 years of graduate study. The maximum time-to-degree is 18 academic quarters and six summer terms.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Students hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in the graduate study.
- Submit the GRE exam score is optional for the admission of the students.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Students complete a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- MCAT scores may be submitted by applicants with M.D. degrees.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
