The MSc named option in Research is the traditional master's program. The Department of Educational Psychology offers the master of science and doctor of philosophy degrees in educational psychology. The programs for the MSc and PhD in educational psychology provide comprehensive knowledge of the field and intensive specialization in one of four areas of study and research:

Academic Eligibility:
- Candidates must have an equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B+ Grade].
English Language proficiency:
- Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
- Meeting the minimum English requirements does not guarantee admission. Students with higher English proficiency scores will receive priority in the admission assessment process.
- Not all students will qualify for EAP-3106 in place of the required IELTS or TOEFL test scores.
Submission of GRE scores is compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum 292 score for a better chance of admission.
