Master of Arts [M.A] Global Affairs
- The master of arts in global affairs is an interdisciplinary program offering students the opportunity to engage in advanced study of a broad range of global issues. Students complete a core curriculum that provides the knowledge and skills to think and act globally and then select a specialization. The possible specializations include courses offered by academic departments across the university.
- All students in the program take part in a residency abroad, typically MA is designed for maximum flexibility for full or part-time students. Courses in the thirty-credit, non-thesis program are offered in the evenings at Mason’s Fairfax and Arlington campuses. Students create their interdisciplinary specialization from courses in highly ranked departments across the university, including economics, history, sociology, government, and public policy. Fall or spring semester admissions are available.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have completed a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution.
- Students required a 3.0 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate work.
