Master of Arts [M.A] Education Policy Studies
- The program is designed for students who wish to develop skills in policy research, program evaluation, and the technical, political, and managerial aspects of education policy. Emphasis is placed on developing both an understanding of the political and social environments affecting education policy and the competencies needed to develop policy options, analyze their potential, select the most promising, implement policies effectively, and evaluate impacts. Internships are offered in a variety of federal, state, and local agencies.
- The 36-credit-hour program includes 12 elective credits that can be used for courses, independent research, and internships in federal, state, or professional organizations.
