Master of Science [M.S] Mechanical Engineering
The Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a 30-credit program. Two options are available for the MS Program: The Thesis option and Coursework option. The programs at the University of Massachusetts Amherst concentrate on the application of the latest experimental, mathematical and computational techniques to problems of industry and government while providing students with the theoretical background required to keep up with rapidly changing technology.
