Master of Science [M.S] Entomology
- The Department of Entomology offers a thesis Masters Degree, for which a minimum of 36 quarter-units of graduate and upper division undergraduate courses is required.
- As stated earlier, the Guidance Committee offers consultation and/or assistance with regard to planning, execution and analysis of the research and recommending supporting coursework.
- After completion of the research program, the thesis is defended during an oral examination administered by the student's guidance committee.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree with a major in Entomology, a biological science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a suitable equivalent from a recognized university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
