Master of Science [M.S] Creative Technology and Design

  • Creative Industries students gain technical fluency, in designing and building systems and products to realize their creative visions through a project-based curriculum. They graduate as creative technologists equipped with robust portfolios of thoughtful projects and prototypes.
  • The Creative Industries track is guided by a unique and relevant core curriculum, further shaped by student interest and by industry leaders. Beyond the core, the curriculum is flexible, allowing students to focus on diverse areas and work towards different careers. Many students focus on user experience and user interaction (UI/UX); other popular areas of interest are games and virtual & augmented reality, performance arts and media, learning and education, and interactive product design. Along the way, students choose their own adventure by selecting from a diverse and challenging array of technical focus and critical perspective elective courses.
  • Students in the Creative Industries track connect with the current and most relevant considerations of the field. Through workshops, visiting speakers, studios and classes, students work directly with leading professionals on real-world issues, gaining design expertise and technical skills as they learn the business of creativity.
