Graduate Certificate [Grad.Cert] Diagnostic Ultrasound
Sonography is a stimulating profession in constant evolution. Medical sonographers use devices that produce and record images of various parts of the body in order to help doctors monitor pregnancies and diagnose health problems. There is currently a shortage of sonography technicians in the field. The Ultrasonography program prepares the student to perform the tasks relating to ultrasound examinations in an autonomous and professional manner.

Following are the academic requirements needed to attend the program:

Previous training in one of these areas: medical imagining technology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, nursing, echocardiography or vascular sonography, sciences (bachelor’s degree).

Must have a grade-point average (GPA) of B- for the anatomy and physiology courses and C- for the other courses.
- Students need to take a French assessment test.
- Standard first-aid certificate.
