Diploma Graphic Design Production
- Diploma in Graphic Design Production at Georgian College is offered as 2 years (4 semesters) program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
- In this program, students engage in interdisciplinary problem-solving, combining visual sensitivity with skill and knowledge in the areas of communications, technology, and business.
- Students have to complete 20 program courses, 2 communications courses, and 3 general education courses.
- Students learn to structure visual information to aid communication in both print and web-based formats and employ these skills in the creation of advertising, editorial, branding, and information design.
- Students will learn in the fully-equipped studios using industry-standard tools, and will also have the opportunity to network with leaders in their field and real-world clients.
- Upon enrolment, students are registered as members of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, providing them with opportunities and resources for professional development.
- To graduate from this program, the passing weighted average for promotion through each semester, from year to year, and to graduate is 60%.
- Additionally, a student must attain a minimum of 50% or a letter grade of P (Pass) or S (Satisfactory) in each course in each semester.
- Students can apply for a working knowledge of design fundamentals, typography, and technology including standard software, digital and photographic techniques.
- The average salary goes up to 35,000 USD after completion of the program.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with Grade 12 English (C or U).
- Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school students may also be considered for admission.
- Students who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing also get admission to this program.
- All students must submit 3 to 5 samples of creative work that represents their interest in the field of Graphic Design.
- Successful graduates of the Art and Design Fundamentals one-year certificate program at Georgian College are exempt from this requirement.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
