Bachelor Finance
At ONU, you’ll receive a solid foundation in the principles of finance. You’ll explore topics like the time value of money, the tradeoff between risk and return, capital budgeting, working capital management, the cost of capital, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management, derivatives, and more. To become even more marketable, you have the option of adding a minor, becoming a double major, or choosing to concentrate in either corporate finance or risk management insurance (RMI).
Your finance major will blend rigorous coursework with learning in the real world. You’ll have opportunities to solve problems for real companies, get involved in finance clubs and business organizations, and gain experience in a dream internship. In the process, you’ll build skills in leadership, teamwork and creativity.
