Bachelor of Science [B.S] Integrative Studies - Life Sciences

  • Housed within the College of Humanities and Social Science, the School of Integrative Studies (SIS) is a pioneer in integrative studies, which seeks to bring together research, theory, and practice across numerous disciplines. The school offers the only integrative studies degree in Virginia, and one of the few in the country. Classes are designed so that they apply what they have learned to the world outside.
  • Students will enjoy small classes with ample room for discussion, collaborative learning, and experiential learning, including community projects, volunteer opportunities, fieldwork, internships and work with faculty on research that directly engages current social and global challenges.

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
