Occupational therapy is a rewarding, client-focused profession well suited for those who wish to provide direct care to patients in a variety of settings. The combined BS/OTD in Health Sciences & Occupational Therapy is a joint program with Thomas Jefferson University (TJU).

While a student at UD, they will study a broad range of sciences (biology, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, nutrition), as well as the social sciences (general psychology, abnormal psychology, sociology, and human development) and will be excellently prepared for the occupational therapy coursework at TJU.

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
