Master of Arts [M.A] Mental Health Counseling
Students in Iona's Mental Health Counseling program, as part of training, may treat children, adolescents and adults. Clients who are served by mental health counselors often have complex mental health issues and exhibit varied levels of need. As part of the clinical training experience in our program, students are required to complete a 600-hour clinical internship at a mental health site or facility.

- Bachelor of Science or Arts degree from an accredited institution.
- Have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.3 prerequisite GPA with no prerequisite courses below a C.
