Master's students complete either a thesis or a professional project/internship. An advanced doctoral degree with a specialization in Leisure Studies is also offered by the Department of Health and Human Performance. A limited number of graduate teaching assistantships, research assistantships, scholarships, and doctoral fellowships are available in addition to other forms of financial aid.The M.S. in Leisure and Sport Management helps prepare students for potential supervisory and administrative positions in a wide range of recreation and leisure service agencies. Additionally, the master?s program equips students to pursue a doctoral degree in Leisure Studies.?
