Biology is one of the most significant and exciting fields of science in the world today. This graduate program teaches research and communication skills and provides technical and theoretical foundations required to succeed in science-related streams. Graduates go on to pursue higher education or careers in universities, research institutions, and the biotechnology industry in basic and applied research areas. Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete an honors Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from a recognized university.
- Students have bachelor's degrees in Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, or related fields.
- Students must have a B+ minimum average grade, based on a full-year equivalent of final year courses (3rd/4th level) relevant to the program.
Work Experience Eligibility:
- Students may also be considered who have good research work.
- The thesis master’s program includes many research projects and seminars.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from a recognized university.
Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, if students have given the GRE then it is recommended to submit the scores (minimum 300) for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
